Dr. Benjamin Potvin
Agriculture has always been a root of inspiration in Benjamin’s life. Growing up in Kentville, Nova Scotia, Ben had the opportunity to learn from an early age the ins and outs of farming while working on his family beef farm and a neighbouring dairy farm.He headed west to Ontario where he attended the University of Guelph to complete both his Bachelor of Science degree as well as his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2017. With a love for travel, during his years of study Ben had the opportunity to work with cattle on dairy farms in 3 Provinces, various regions of the United States, and New Zealand. In 2016, he attended the Summer Dairy Institute, an advanced training program for prospective dairy veterinarians held at Cornell University. Ben enjoys the outdoors, and is an avid hiker. Now as he finds himself in BC’s Fraser Valley, he is looking forward to discovering all it has to offer.
